American Studies Center (ASC) is a research and educational center established at Yerevan State University in 2019 within the framework of the American Studies program at YSU funded by a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Armenia. The ASC main partner in implementing the American Studies program is Arizona State University; the largest public university in the U.S. and the longstanding institutional partner of YSU, with an expansive and fruitful cooperation experience spanning to almost 20 years of collaboration in Public Administration and Policy, Leadership and others fields. The Center is affiliated with the Department of International Relations, YSU, which is one of the leading educational and scientific faculties (departments) in the field of International Relations.

The major mission-based aims of the Center include but not limited to promotion and development of academic and professional environment conductive for high quality social science research, fostering and supporting of internationalization of higher education at YSU, educational, academic and expert-level support for the U.S.-Armenia cooperation development.
